Why a Wether & Hide holdall
Every holdall is cut from waxed or oiled canvas with full-grain leather trim: water beads off the body, leather softens with age, and the whole thing shrugs off baggage handlers with dignity.
Care & breaking in
Waxed canvas develops a characterful patina with use. Re-wax once or twice a year to keep it water-repellent. Full-grain leather will darken and soften naturally, which is exactly what you want. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, dry away from radiators, and never machine-wash. Your bag will look better at year three than at day one.
Guarantee & shipping
Free UK shipping on every order. Hardware (buckles, zips, straps) is guaranteed for life: if it fails, we repair or replace it, no quibbles. Every bag is inspected before it leaves us, and our production runs are photographed and tested in real British weather before they go on sale.
