Why a Wether & Hide rucksack
Every rucksack is built for the British commute and the weekend beyond: padded laptop pockets, water-repellent waxed canvas, genuine leather trim, and a frame that carries weight where it should.
Care & breaking in
Waxed canvas develops a characterful patina with use. Re-wax once or twice a year to keep it water-repellent. Full-grain leather will darken and soften naturally, which is exactly what you want. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, dry away from radiators, and never machine-wash. Your bag will look better at year three than at day one.
